Originally from London, I trained in social care and worked in schools throughout London. I then went to see the world!
I travelled for a number of years and amongst many an adventure I ended up managing a diving centre in Egypt where I hosted my first wedding. The memories, sights and sounds stayed with me ever since.
On my return to London, I worked for the Vice Presidents and Directors of multinational companies based in the City and West End planning many an event, for both UK and overseas clients… And loved every minute of it!
I then met my Mr Right! I pulled on all my event management skills along with my travel experiences to organise my own wedding. Even though this was some 14 years ago, and on a shoestring budget, people still talk about it to this day.
Since moving to the beautiful part of the world that is East Sussex, I have volunteered with a number of charities organising numerous fund raising events such as dinners, concerts, fashion shows and community fundraisers. As Registrar of my local rugby club I’ve also organised a variety of events including a 3 day rugby tour for 230 boys!
These 19 years of event planning steered me into the direction I had been longing for! I organised a children’s naming ceremony and then planned my first wedding.
I have since had the privilege of working with the most beautiful couples around Sussex.
Ensuring they have the day they dreamed of.
I feel honoured to be doing something which I truly love.
